Creator: NASA (@nasa). Original post dated 28 September 2026.
Checked: 18 October 2026. Original Instagram embed displayed 120,394 likes.
The source contains moving asteroid imagery, interview footage and English speech. Instagram’s player reported 38.719 seconds. The local MP4 after container remuxing reports 38.613 seconds; its audio and video start at 0 seconds.

## Transcript provenance

This is the unedited result of a completed Video Script Extractor production task from 5 October 2026. Nine stored segments were exported with the same TXT/SRT/VTT exporter used by the product. No words or cue times have been changed.

A new submission on 18 October stopped at the daily free allowance check, before transcription. We reused the earlier completed result, rather than claiming a new recognition run. The downloaded source and exported files were rechecked for this example.

## How to compare

Play the original Reel with sound. Compare the opening asteroid name, the middle reference to 200–250 near-Earth objects, and the closing date against the text. The original Reel includes its own on-screen captions; those captions were made by the publisher and are not our generated VTT track. Our unedited export is available as TXT, SRT and VTT. The native player also offers an optional English (generated) caption track from that same VTT file. It is off by default to avoid overlapping the publisher’s captions.

This is one worked example, not an accuracy benchmark or a human-certified transcript. Video-editor import has not been verified. The Reel describes an early risk estimate; NASA's accompanying post states that subsequent observations found no threat to Earth. Do not quote the trailer without that context.

## Source and display

The page serves a previously downloaded copy of the original Reel with a native video player. The 608×1080 H.264 video and AAC audio are unchanged; the MP4 container was remuxed for progressive playback. Playback does not load the Instagram player. Video loading starts when the visitor presses play; the source MP4 is also available to download. The original post remains linked for attribution and context. NASA is credited as the source; this independent transcript demonstration does not imply NASA endorsement.
